MeriPath aims to provide an effective and sustainable Cervical Screening Programme in Papua New Guinea.

We endeavour to work with the health practitioners of PNG in a co-operative and supportive manner, whilst trying to maintain the high quality our service brings to the women of PNG.

This entails the following specific objectives:

SHORT-TERM: providing training and support for the collection and clinical management of pap smears and follow-up biopsies for health facilities in PNG.

LONG-TERM: establishing a Cytology Laboratory in PNG, providing training and ongoing support for personnel.
